SPECIAL PLACE

Hello there readers! All my life (so far) I have been very lucky to be able to travel around the world and visit so many special places all over the world. This one is definitely one of my most special trips.. It was a trip to Isla Holbox, a really small island along the Mexican coast and we’ve visited this place two times in 2010. This was during Christmas, we wanted to escape the Dutch cold and have our version of a white Christmas: toes in the white sand! We met some really nice and friendly people there, whom we still want to visit again.. I love how peaceful everything was there, the relaxed beach life and so many special places where you could just be by yourself. In the centre of the Island we were only surrounded by locals and we went there in the afternoon or at night, but first we had a long walk by the beach. Breathtaking, looking back at these pictures brings back the feeling I got there. Amazing. What’s (one of your) your most special travel destination? And where would you love to go to? I’m gonna study again, I have my exams next week…. Scary!! Wish me luck (: XOX
