Saturday I went to Los Angeles to visit my good friend (she’s like a sister for me) because she requested a flight to LAX and was there for one day. When I arrived at the hotel and was talking with her someone suddenly grabbed me at my waist, I looked at her like “Uhhhh what is this?!” I turned around and I saw my mom and sister!!!! I almost had to cry and my hands were shaking. I really thought I was sleeping. This couldn’t be true!

I was really overwhelmed and surprised! We only had 24 hours to spend together before they flew back again and they never visited Los Angeles before, so we decided to rent a car and make a roadtrip through the beautiful and crazy city of Angels!

Our first stop: Venice Beach. The crazy beach with a lot of artists, freak shows, other performers and entertainers. You can see a lot of amazing and crazy things here, the atmosphere was really amazing!! After that we went to Santa Monica Pier, Beverly Hills (Rodeo Drive) and Hollywood’s Walk of Fame! After this long and exhausting day (especially for them: JETLAG!!) we ate sushi at the Yamashiro Hollywood resaurant. We had an amazing view there!

I had a real blast that day, wow. Everytime I look back at these pictures it puts a smile on my face and the BEST memories.. I really want to thank them for arranging this surprise for me! Gives me the best energy to continue the last three weeks of my stay here in Santa Barbara. I have a few exciting plans left to come, so you’ll definitely see some more about my trip here.
