OUTFIT – BLUE ON BLUE

IMG_9860

Hi there lovely readers, how was your weekend? Mine was perfect – I had a great beach party at Woodstock on Friday, where I think I lost my voice.. Everyone’s laughing when they hear me. Apparently, I sound like a man – whoops. The day after my friend and I went to the beach to cure a slight hangover and on Sunday, when I was all beared for the day, I had a really fun day together with two friends of mine! We shot some cool polaroids (preview, here) which I’ll tell you about later this week and also these outfit photos.

This time I’m wearing a double (triple, if you count the shoes) blue ensemble. I think it gives the outfit a little edge. The pattern of the sweater gives it a sort of denim on denim feel, which I actually find a bit tricky to wear. It’s one of those combinations I think look super super cool on others and when I try it myself I doubt. Do you recognize that problem? Or is it just me, scared to step out of my comfort zone…

WHAT I’M WEARING?
KENZO sweater, here
H&M jeans
CHANEL espadrilles (borrowed from Dien)
HERMES bracelet

Spring has finally sprung – though we kind of skipped winter this year – so we can get our colored outfits out of the closet, but also our summer shoes! YAY, I’m really loving that. No more freezing my feet off. These Chanel espadrilles are the perfect shoes to add a little extra to your outfit. Sadly they’re not mine, since I borrowed them from a friend. But no grieve – there are also a lot of cool other espadrilles. Last Summer my best friend bought me a pair of French espadrilles from the market there. It’s super chic, casual and perfect for summer. What do you think? Would you wear espadrilles or would you rather go for sandals/sneakers?

Enjoy this lovely sunny day! Lots of love, Britt

PS. Soak up as much vitamin D as you can ;-)
